Ray Portelli (Heart and Soul) 

Ray was one of the all-time greatest referees at any level of play. Yes REFEREE ! He refereed over 5000 games in a career that spanned over 15 years. While being a great beer league ref he was a true fan of the players and the game. While during a game Ray was never a fan of names, post game he rarely forgot a players name. He was fair and understood what beer league is truly about; enjoyment, sport and community. He was a dedicated member of the hockey community till his unfortunate passing in 2022 and is dearly missed by friends, colleagues, and the entire hockey community.

Ray is the first to be inducted posthumously.
